Kristi McFarlin, RMIS-industry expert in data analytics, joins Ventiv Technology as vice president of Analytics

ATLANTA – Oct. 2, 2017 – Ventiv Technology, the world’s largest global, independent provider of risk, insurance, and EH&S software, announced today that Kristi McFarlin has joined the company as vice president, Analytics, effective immediately. Ms. McFarlin is based out of Ventiv’s U.S. headquarters in Atlanta and reports to Chief Executive Officer Bill Diaz. Ms. McFarlin joins the company’s executive committee.

Ms. McFarlin is responsible for the risk analytics software capabilities in Ventiv Technology’s risk, claims, and EH&S software. Said Ms. McFarlin: “I am focused on a powerful trend that’s driving analytics: democratization of access to data within organizations. Our goal is to harness the potential in that trend for the benefit of Ventiv clients and help them become ‘citizen data scientists.’ To reach that goal, Ventiv is expanding its analytics and risk reporting tools that enable visual-based data exploration and smart data discovery, thus helping Ventiv clients create a more pervasive, analytics-driven environment within their departments.”

Kristi McFarlin brings nearly 20 years of experience in the risk management information systems industry to her new role with Ventiv. Ms. McFarlin has deep experience in designing complex analytics and reporting solutions; she has also managed the implementation of those solutions as the leader of geographically dispersed teams of report developers, business analysts, and data modelers. On the operations side, Ms. McFarlin has an extensive background in initiatives around analytics lifecycle process flow improvement. A graduate of the University of Georgia with a Risk Management and Insurance degree with a concentration in Actuarial Science, Ms. McFarlin has completed her MBA and begun the Ph.D. program for Operations Research at North Carolina State University.
